    The fifth CalSHRM Insights webcast will take place Wednesday, March 29th from 2pm – 3:20pm. 

    The March webcast will feature Jay Rosenlieb Partner at Klein DeNatale Goldner Cooper Rosenlieb & Kimball, LLP in Bakersfield California. Mr. Rosenlieb chairs the firm’s employment law counseling and litigation group, representing management in employment litigation and counseling, with a practice focus on class actions and collective actions, wage and hour law, discrimination and harassment, wrongful termination, and workforce downsizing, as well as counseling to and representation of management in union matters and bargaining under the National Labor Relations Act and similar California acts. Mr. Rosenlieb also leads the firm’s human resource consulting group, KDG HRSolutions. He received his B.A. degree cum laude from Claremont McKenna College and his J.D. degree from Hastings College of Law. Mr. Rosenlieb is a member of the Kern County Bar Association and the Society of Human Resource Management and is a frequent speaker and writer on employment and labor law matters. 

    During this interactive webinar, participants will have the opportunity to learn and explore several key new laws and recently decided cases that impact the California workplace. Participants will further have the opportunity to explore strategies for compliance in the workplace areas of wage and hour, leave rights, discrimination and harassment, and arbitration consistent with their overall operational objectives. 

    The live webcast has been submitted for 1 hour SHRM Professional Development Credit and 1 hour HRCI California Recertification Credit.
